Everyone knows that goalie and figure skaters use a different hollow on their blades. That’s why we made the ceramics in Excalibur with a different angle than “Raptor” (our ceramic sharpener designed for player skates). This ensures that you as a goalie or figure skater get that same - just sharpened - feeling that you would get if you had your skates done with a goalie or figure skater radius.

Comes complete with instruction card and our exclusive skate sharpness tester “The Stick” and a 5 year warranty on the ceramics! So you can do your skates, your friends or the whole team ….and not have to worry about wearing the ceramics out!!

Note : Excalibur can be used on player skates, but we recommend Raptor for forwards and defensemen.

Instructions:

Hold Excalibur at a slight angle, align the blade between the Zirconia Toughened Alumina Ceramic dowels, apply a firm pressure, and slide back from toe to heel. Two strokes are all you need. Your edges will be sharper!

Rather than use your fingernails to determine if your skates are sharp, try using "The Stick". It can be attached to your keychain or hockey bag, so that it will always be handy to check the sharpness of your skates. The Stick is included when you purchase Excalibur.
